DREAMS-PSO: Dermatologic Research Evaluation and Monitoring of Sleep in Moderate to Severe Psoriasis

Getting enough sleep is important for maximizing health and well-being. When it comes to health, sleep is as vital as regular exercise and eating a balanced diet. This study will look at how people with psoriasis sleep and if their sleep is different than people without psoriasis.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

What will participants be asked to do? 

You will be asked to: 

  • Meet with the study team at UCSF to confirm you can take part.
  • Have a brief exam and give a small sample of blood. 
  • Answer questions about your health and quality of life. 
  • Spend 3 nights at the UCSF sleep lab so the study team can track and measure your sleep. You can leave the sleep lab during the day. 

Will participants be paid? 

You can receive $750 for completing all parts of the study. The study will cover parking costs for study visits.
